History: (Batman: Brotherhood of the Bat #1) <53 years in the future> - Ra's al Ghul assembled members of the Brotherhood of the Demon and the League of Assassins and equipped them and himself with costumes and technology designed but never implemented by Bruce Wayne. Ghul sent this Brotherhood of the Bat into Gotham City to destroy the criminal element by any means necessary. After a number of massacres the Brotherhood gained a new member in Tallant, the son of the original Batman. Tallant surreptitiously eliminated the other members of the Brotherhood one at a time until he was drawn into final conflict with Ra's al Ghul. Ghul and Tallant fought to a draw, and Ghul handed control of Gotham over to Tallant.
