History: (Green Arrow III #13) - Buckeye was a small-time superhero in Ohio, where he met Meg, the love of his life and his wife. They relocated to Pennsylvania, where Buckeye continued to have success as a hero, but he refused to change his name. After defeating supervillain Panacea he returned home to find his wife dead at the hands of superhero serial killer Onomatopoeia. He attacked the killer in a rage, but Onomatopoeia shot him in the head, killing him.
