Base of Operations: Fawcett City, California, formerly Europe, WWII era
First Appearance: Master Comics (Fawcett) #21 (December, 1941)
Powers: Captain Nazi possessed superhuman strength, agility, endurance, intelligence, and the power of flight.
History: (Power of Shazam II #5 (fb, BTS)) - Adolph Hitler created Captain Nazi as a "hero" of the Third Reich and living embodiment of the Nazi ideals.
(Power of Shazam II #8 (fb)) - <June, 1945> Germany surrendered to the U.S. after Hitler’s suicide, but Captain Nazi staid loyal to his cause, and started operations in the U.S. He kidnapped Spy Smasher and tortured him for information about La Paloma, a freighter from South America containing items for Nazi’s mission. Smasher was rescued by Bulletman and Minute Man., but Nazi ordered his men to sacrifice themselves by blowing up their hq in an attempt to kill the heroes while Nazi made his escape. Nazi flew to sea, wrecked a liner to distract the heroes, who’d survived and were on his tail, and located La Paloma. La Paloma had two cryogenic chambers. Per his orders he sunk the Paloma, and took one cryogenic chamber for himself, so he could continue Hitler’s work in the future. The other chamber supposedly contained Hitler, and was allowed to stay secret in the bowels of the sunken ship.
(Power of Shazam II #5, 6) - After WWII, Captain Nazi’s brother Wolf Krieger put him into stasis in a chamber in his basement, and looked after him for decades. Wolf raised his granddaughter Katrina, the supervillain Madame Libertine, to view Nazi as a hero. When Wolf could no longer stand the modern work, and the way its liberties offended his Nazi sensibilities, he released Nazi from stasis. Wolf had big plans that required a substantial amount of money, and Captain Nazi said he’d simply knock over a bank. Libertine reminded him that it wasn’t the ‘40s anymore, and that super villains didn’t just rob banks. He was offended, refusing to take advice from a woman, and flew off to steal some money, proclaiming his mission had been defined by Adolph Hitler himself. Captain Nazi broke into a bank, and was infuriated by the minorities he saw there, so he started spouting Nazi propaganda. Before anyone could get hurt Captain Marvel saved the day, locking Nazi in the bank vault, giving the patrons time to remove themselves from danger. Nazi escaped, and commenced a battle with Marvel over the open seas. Nazi was exasperated, his arrogance could not handle someone he couldn’t dominate, and when Marvel landed a punch that knocked him near a fishing boat, he saw a chance to retreat. The fishermen were young Freddy Freeman and his grandfather, and thinking Nazi a drowning victim, they helped him aboard. He flung Freddy’s grandfather into the sea, and snapped Freddy’s leg and spine before doing the same to him. Marvel caught up to Nazi, and was horrified by what he saw, but he chose to save Freddy and his grandfather instead of pursuing the villain, who escaped.
(Power of Shazam II #7) - Wolf gave Captain Nazi a medical exam, he seemed to be sick following his waking from cryogenic sleep. He heard a radio broadcast demonizing him, and raising funds for Freeman’s medical treatment. Libertine taunted him, telling him he’d made a martyr out of a boy she suspected of being Jewish based on his name. Nazi disregarded Wolf’s pleas for his health, and decided to visit Freeman in the hospital. Captain Marvel, using his full power, defeated Captain Nazi, and sent him to a met human prison. To save Freddy’s life Captain Marvel shared his power with him, turning him into Captain Marvel, Jr. The doctor at Nazi’s prison determined that he was suffering from a severe flu that was debilitating him.
(Power of Shazam II #8, 9) - While Nazi recovered from the flu in prison, he was busted out by fellow Marvel Family antagonist Black Adam. Captain Nazi flew Adam to safety, but said that was all he was willing to do to help the stranger, and dropped him to his seeming demise. Nazi was accosted by Captain Marvel, Jr., whose grandfather had just died due to the injuries Nazi caused him. Nazi didn’t recognize Jr., further infuriating the hero. He battled Nazi, who, losing the battle, set a fire during rush hour traffic. Jr. realized that although vengeance was his first instinct, he was indeed a hero, and had to rescue civilians from the inferno. The Marvel Family caught up to Nazi on Miami Beach, where he’d procured the other cryogenic chamber from the sunken La Paloma. It was supposed to contain Hitler, but when he opened it all that was left was a skeleton dressed in Nazi garb. The Marvel Family weren’t particularly interested in Nazi’s scheme, and simply told him he was going to face justice. The fight was taken out of Nazi, his entire purpose in life died with his fuehrer, but Freddy attacked him anyway. Captain Marvel told him they worked for justice, and they’d see Nazi tried for his war crimes, but Freddy was intent on a revenge killing. The Marvels calmed Junior down, and after cuffing Nazi, they flew toward Crowley Prison. They were attacked by Black Adam, whose powers and memory had been restored by the demon Blaze. With their shared powers, they were no match for Black Adam’s might, and after snapping Captain Marvel’s arm he flew off to finish the hero. Junior battled the reinvigorated Nazi, who tried to flee. Mary intervened, dominating Nazi before Junior did anything stupid.
(JLA #59) - Joker Jokerized a number of inmates at the Slab, including Captain Nazi. The insane Nazi was captured, given an antidote to the Joker Venom, and put in a metahuman holding facility in Death Valley.

Nazi had boarded the plane, choking the pilot to death so the plane would crash. Captain Marvel went into action again, hitting Captain Nazi and knocking him into a nearby bay. Freddy spoke Captain Marvel's name, and was transformed by a bolt of lightning into Captain Marvel, Jr. Captain Nazi called up Hitler, bragging about how he’d killed an old man and crippled a little boy, saying Americans were weak. Bulletman stopped Eternity’s men from kidnapping Sir Henry Welch, and Eternity called in his ally Captain Nazi, who he praised for his war efforts on Germany’s behalf. In response Captain Marvel sent captain Marvel, Jr. To help Bulletman. They located Dr. Eternity’s wax museum where he had his victims on display, and made short work of him and Nazi. They managed to bring Eternity into custody, but Captain Nazi escaped to fight another day.

Freddy Freeman was hawking his papers at the hospital where Wilson was recovering when Captain Nazi, disguised as a doctor, abducted John.
