Powers: Chain Lighting could absorb electrical current, and with the aid of the powersuit she wore she could project destructive bolts of electricity or channel the electricity stored in her body towards powering machinery. She suffered from multiple personality disorder. Her personalities cosisited of Id, a bratty child, the Inner Child, a brute, and Amber, a angry psychotic.

History: Amy was born with the mutant power of absorbing electricity, but never learned uses for her power until a mysterious benefactor gave her a powersuit that let he channel the electricity she stored. At about this time she began suffering from multiple personality disorder. She battled Captain Marvel, Jr., and was defeated and sent to S.T.A.R. Labs for treatment.

(Outsiders III #33 (fb, BTS)) - Captain Marvel, Jr. kept in touch with Chain Lightning, visiting her at S.T.A.R. on a regular basis. She felt very attached to him after these visits.

(Outsiders III #33) - Chain Lightning joined the Society. She was assigned to the Frisk Nuclear Power Society where captive hero Mary Marvel locked away and kept powerless by Society member Vault. Arsenal of the Outsiders infiltrated the Society disguised as Deathstroke and gained access to Frisk. Arsenal and the Outsiders freed Mary Marvel, and after Chain saw that Captain Marvel, Jr. was a member of the Outsiders, she switched sides and helped them. Her idea of helping was to blow up Frisk's reactor with her electrical powers, but fortunately the Outsiders and Society members cleared out before the plant exploded.
