Powers: The Children all possessed pyrokinesis, and were armed with blink bombs capable of razing a planet. The Children were psychopaths with little regard for life.

History: The Children were a cult of mutants resembling human infants with little disregard for life, be it their own or others.

(Green Lantern Corps II #15, 16) - The Sinestro Corps approached Ravillian, leader of the Children of the White Lobe, to aid them in destroying the Green Lantern Corps. The Sinestro Corps member Ranx ripped a hole in the GLC’s sentient planet Mogo and sent in the Children, so they could explode and destroy the power ring at Mogo’s core. Mogo concentrated his life energy around his core, making it an impenetrable shell, and giving the GLC enough time to disable the Children. The Guardians of the Universe rewrote the Book of Oa, enabling lethal force to be used against the Sinestro Corps, and the Lanterns slew the last remaining Children.
