(Catwoman III #48, 49) - Catwoman had Clayface released from S.T.A.R. Labs, and asked for his help taking down Professor Hugo Strange's crew. She promised that if he helped her he was free to go, and promised neither she nor Batman would ever bother him again. Todd impersonated Catwoman, and allowed Angle Man to "kill" him with a gunshot to the gut and a triangle through the head. With Strange believing Catwoman to be dead, it was easy for her to get a drop on the gang. Todd was pleased he could help her, and as much guilt as he felt for the mayhem he'd caused as Clayface, he promised he was a changed man. Catwoman said she knew he never chose to become a killer or a monster, it was forced on him, and believed he was finding himself. She told him to leave, and not make her sorry for giving him a chance.
