Powers: Jack Ryder possessed no special abilities, but as the Creeper he has superhuman strength, endurance, and an amazing regenerative ability. Using the device implanted in his wrist he could transform from the Creeper into Jack Ryder, or vice versa instantaneously. Creeper was permanently under the influence of hallucinogenics, making him psychotic and unpredictable.

History(The Dark Knight Strikes Again #2) - Rick Rickard was elected President of the United States, pivoting the U.S. towards fascism. Rickard was actually a computer hologram controlled by Lex Luthor, the real power behind the government. He systematically imprisoned heroes he was worried might cause his downfall. Guardian came out of retirement when an alien invasion threatened Metropolis, but he was confronted by a man claiming to be the Joker. Guardian knew the Joker had been killed during a fight with Batman, but the new Joker wasn’t interested in explaining himself, stabbing Guardian multiple times before fatally shooting him in the head. Joker then went on to murder the superhero Creeper, stabbing him to death.
