History

(Catwoman II #50) - Cyber-Cat became obsessed with destroying Catwoman for making her look bad in front of Syntex. She told Syntex she was taking the suit on a field test, and left for a number of weeks. She didn't see it as stealing because she'd agreed to hand over the final specs to Mr. Rumboldt only when she was finished testing the suit, and assumed the deal still stood even though he was in prison. She stalked Gotham until she found Catwoman, and ambushed her. Catwoman was no match for her in close combat, and was forced to flee, battered and shredded by Cyber-Cat's claws. She managed to tail Cyber to her hideout before going to see her associate Clutterbuck, having him construct a robotic exoskeleton for her so she'd stand a fighting chance against Cyber-Cat. Cyber-Cat was testing her weapons in her lair, seething, and awaiting the day she'd confront Catwoman when the thief broke in and attacked her. After a heated battle she destroyed Cyber's battlesuit, and Cyber had a mental breakdown. She spent her life feeling weak and stepped on, and wearing her battlesuit let her create a confident persona that was now shattered. Investigators working with Syntex found her, and were not pleased that she'd allowed Syntex property to get destroyed.
