History(Big Daddy Danger #4 (fb, BTS)) - Diablo was the son of a pro-wrestler / superspy, and went on his father's last mission, as he was supposed to be his successor. They found a dimensional gateway, and had a falling out, with Diablo wanting to exploit the portal for monetary gain. The father tossed Diablo into the portal before it was sealed off, hid the portal stones needed to open it in his championship wrestling belt, and the father told Diablo's younger brother that he was dead. Diablo made friends with the creatures in the dimension he found himself in, and after declaring them brothers promised to find a way to bring them to Earth.

(Big Daddy Danger #1, 2) - Diablo wanted to destroy his brother Big Daddy Danger, pro-wrestling champ and superspy, for usurping his legacy, and Diablo spent all his time obsessing over Daddy, and stalking him and his son Danny Danger. Diablo hired disgraced pro-wrestlers the Ma'amazons to kidnap the mayor and his daughter. While Big Daddy was busy saving them he watched Danny's wrestling meet. Diablo anticipated his battle with Daddy and trained intensely, plowing through numerous hired training partners in brutal wrestling matches. Big Daddy's relationship with Danny was strained because his son didn't know he was a spy, and when Daddy left him at home, Diablo decided to keep an eye on him. Danny went for a ride on his bike, and a bully named El Jefe stole it. Diablo revealed himself, and encouraged him to fight Diable. Danny did, and the bully said he was El Jefe now. Diablo told him to finish him off, and Danny reluctantly listened to him, drop-kicking the bully in the head. Danny thought Diablo was pretty dark, but was happy someone was taking an interest in him.

(Big Daddy Danger #3) - Big Daddy had a championship steel cage match against a mystery opponent at MSG, and was also supposed to intercept a drop-off of unknown materials. His head wasn't in the game, he was too concerned about his strained relationship with Danny. His opponent turned out to be his brother Diablo, who he'd thought dead. The match was intense, and he had to climb the cage and trick Diablo into flinging him into the crowd so he could intercept a briefcase being handed over to Ferocious Farouq and foil the drop-off. When they reentered the cage he was distracted enough for Diablo to finish him off, becoming the new champion and handing him his first defeat in the ring. Diablo promised Danny he could be his sidekick, and he left with his uncle. The fickle crowd was totally behind Big Daddy Diablo.

(Big Daddy Danger #4, 6) - Diablo gave school children a tour of the Big City observatory, and tried to convince Danny that his father had usurped him. A solar eclipse was coming, the stars were right to open the interdimensional portal, so Diablo roughed up some staff and used his newly won belt to bring his adopted brothers to Earth. Danny finally realized he was evil, and tried to fight him, but was outclassed. Daddy made the scene, and won back his title in an epic match, fueled by the anger of his brother corrupting his son. Diablo was beaten, but he'd still succeeded in bringing his extradimensional brothers to Earth for a cosmic smackdown. Diablo was sent to prison, and Daddy saved the Earth from the invasion. Danny's mother was back with Daddy, and Diablo was jealous, he knew he was cuter than his brother. He cried for vengeance, saying he'd sell his soul for it, and a devil appeared. Mephisto Fire gave him his mark of the pentagram on Diablo's chest, making him invincible, and promised him he'd have his rematch.

(Big Daddy Danger #7) - Diablo set fires throughout the city, kidnapped Dana, and holed up in an old steel mill. Diablo begged for Dana's affection, and said they were good together. She said he was crazy, they had one date years ago, and he botched it by taking her to a dance and beating up everyone there. Dana tried to convince him that his family still loved him, and there was still some good in him. Diablo was starting to actually listen when Mephisto Fire told him there were no second chances for him. Danny Danger figured out that the firest formed a pentagram, with the steel mill in the center, and rescued his mother. Diablo caught up to him just as Daddy arrived. Diablo challenged him to a showdown, and promised to make it quick since his son was watching.
