History: (World's Best Comics #1) - Dinky was excited to see that fortune teller Abdul Kane opened up a shop in his town. He convinced his mother to take him, convincing her that it would be wonderful to know what heroic job he'd have in the future, cop, president or some such. Abdul revealed that Dinky had been fighting with the boys at school, and was sneaking into his mother's jam cupboard, earning Dinky a whupping when he got home. Afterwards Dinky was sore at Abdul and panted a notice that he was unfair to kids on his shop front.

Dinky was one of DC's many one-page gag strips from their earlier days of publication.
