(Challengers of the Unknown I #2) - Doctor Rocket landed on a new world in his rocketship, and searched for intelligent life. He didn't see anyone, but when he returned to his rocket he found a parking ticket.

(Challengers of the Unknown I #3) - A new scientist volunteered for Dr. Rocket's mission to the moon, but it turned out he was only interested because the moon's flat plains and holes would be excellent for playing golf.

(Challengers of the Unknown I #4) - Rocket got a tour of an alien civilization, whose cities were protected from the weather by glass domes. The alien guide admitted there was a downside, it took an entire day every week for workers to clean the glass.

(Challengers of the Unknown I #22) - Rocket and his assistant explored a strange planet, and Rocket put his preliminary report in a rocket headed for Earth so the scientists back home would know what he was looking on. His assistant snuck his dirty laundry onto the rocket hoping the scientists on Earth would wash it for him.

(Challengers of the Unknown I #23) - Doctor Rocket discovered a new planet and prepared an exploratory mission. His assistant asked if his cousin could come, because he sold vacuum cleaners and wanted to tap a new market if the planet was inhabited.

Doctor Rocket was one of DC's many one-page gag strips from their earlier days of publication.
