Powers: Kroolman had access to mother box and boom tube technology, as well as a psionic dissembler. He had high levels of resistance to psionic attacks.

History: (Lobo / Deadman: The Brave and the Bald #1) - Darkseid’s quest for godhood led Doctor Kroolman to seek the secrets of Heaven. He put a hit out on Deadmna and offered it to Lobo. Lobo brought Deadman to Apokolips, and Kroolman tricked Lobo into shaking hands on a two million cred bounty with no middle-man. Kroolman revealed that Lobo’s target was himself, amnd Lobo’s sense of honor wouldn't let him back out, so he killed himself. Both lobo and Deadman had been to Heaven, and Kroolman was convinced their spirits knew how to get back there. He used a psionic dissembling machine on Lobo and Deadman to break apart their spirits in hopes of finding the way to Heaven. While dragging away Lobo’s body a Para-Demon accidentally summoned Lobo’s bike, disrupting the dissembler and allowing Deadman to escape and Lobo to return to his body. Darkseid was not pleased with Kroolman’s failure and demanded he commit suicide.
