Powers: Drakul was a dragon, possessed of the power of flight and superhuman strength. She was virtually immortal and could regenerate from any injury as long as her heart, which was hidden, was not destroyed. She could breathe fire, transform Gnomes into Drakunomes, dragon-like humanoids, and spread fear and hatred in her wake.

History: (JLA: A League of One (fb)) <1348> Most dragons had been eradicated from the face of the Earth when Drakul confronted Prince Amadeus and his army. Drakul was pursued into her mountain stronghold, and her city was destroyed. The knights killed her army of Drakunomes, sealed off the entrance to the mountain, but could not find the location of her heart, which they needed to destroy to kill her. Drakul went underground and went into hibernation.

(JLA: A League of One) - Faithful gnomes found Drakul's sleeping lair and woke her with an offering of gold. She was less than grateful, killing a number of gnomes and turning others into Drakunomes. They destroyed a number of villages until Wonder Woman confronted her. The Delphic Oracle predicted that the JLA would kill Drakul, but that she would slaughter them in her death-0throes, so Wonder Woman tried to cheat fate by confronting Drakul alone. She tricked Drakul into revealing the location of her heart and survived Drakul's flaming breathe only because she represented truth, where Drakul fed off deceit. She offered to keep Drakul's heart safe if Drakul would cease hostilities, but Drakul attacked her and fled. Wonder Woman destroyed Drakul, but was badly wounded, and would have died if Superman didn't save her.
