He created a new dimension within his own mind, and could absorb anything he wanted to inside it, as well as control the landscape and weather of his dimension. Horus could telepathically broadcast his insanity, disturbing anyone he came into contact with.History: (DC Comics Presents #19) - Dr. Horus was a genius whose experiments left him mad, and deformed him, leaving him with the hawk-head of his namesake. His neighbors feared him and sealed him within his own house. Horus absorbed the house into his own mind and left the earthly plane for a century before deciding to return. When his house materialized in the desert it was discovered by Caleb Gurk, a prospector who claimed it for his own and made a fortune selling antiques from the house. To celebrate he threw a celebrity banquet, but Dr. Horus decided he still hated humanity, and wanted to return to his mind. He would first attempt to destroy the party-goers, infecting them with his own madness, and sending them after Gurk. Fortunately the celebrities included superheroes Superman and Batgirl, and they defended Gurk. Superman confronted Dr. Horus on the mental plane, and forced him to release his hold over his guests. The defeated Horus left his house behind, but absorbed his own body into his mind.
