Powers: Marlow was a mechanical genius that utilized a number of automated toys of his own invention. These included a hobo with suction-cup feet for climbing sheer surfaces and a clown on a pogo stick. His safehouse was filled with deadly radiation to prevent intruders, and he wore a neutralizer to protect himself from the radiation. His safehouse was equipped with a magnetic field that could be turned on and off.

History: (Green Lantern II #36) - Marlow used his mechanical prowess to impress a gang of spies, using his automated toy clown to steal the secret plans of Ferris Aircraft’s multi-million dollar Z-25 night-fighter. He presented another invention to the spies, and they prepared to target the Rufus Adams coin collection. Robbin Ferris had drawn the attention of Green lantern, who overheard Marlow talking about the radiation in his safehouse that would prevent the police from catching him. GL used his power ring to turn his organic body into a robot form and leapt into the safehouse. He couldn’t use his power ring because of the yellow nature of the radiation, and when he punched one of the spies, the force of his blow tore off his robotic hand. Marlow used an electromagnetic field to keep GL in stasis, and the gang left to rob the coin collection. Fortunately for GL his severed hand was close enough to the safehouse’s wall to turn off the magnetic field without being interfered with by the yellow radiation. Turning himself back into a human GL apprehended the spies. They told GL and the police that he had no evidence against them, but GL brought the lot back to their safehouse, and he just had to wait for one of Marlow’s toys to bring back the purloined coins.
