History: (Enigma #3-7) - Supermodel Victoria Yes was presented with an odd costume by her designer William Williams, who said the design came to him in a dream. Putting it on she became Envelope Girl, a villain from an old 1970s comic book called the Enigma. Enigma, a mutant boy, was trying to recreate his life as the comic he read, and needed the villains in the comic to come to life. She used her newfound powers to teleport the attendants of her fashion show around the world. She continued to wreck havoc around Pacific City, amassing a following, as everyone she let enter her costume fell madly in love with her. Michael Smith, who was connected to Enigma, found her and tried to make her remember who she was before she was Envelope Girl. She hesitated for a moment and searched her mind, but found only madness, and put Michael inside her costume, teleporting him to Arizona. Michael learned clues about Enigma's origins before returning to Pacific City. Enigma ripped out Envelope Girl's stomach, but Michael prevented him from killing her. He realized that Enigma had a very limited sense of morality. At Michael's insistance Enigma went to Envelope Girl's hospital room and healed her, but her fortune was brief, as Enigma's monstrous mother Ellen showed up and killed her.
