History: (Showcase #65) - F.A.N. (Fraternity of Atavistic No-Goodniks) was an evil group of throwbacks (mutants who had characteristics of evolutionary throwbacks) bent on ruling the world and destroying the Egg's Men. They posed as fans of the Egg's Men to gain access to the Egghead Academy, and were soon engaged in battle with the Egg's Men and the Academy's teaching staff, the Inferior Five. F.A.N. lost, but the Inferior Five decided to let them go in peace.
Due to the Crisis on Infinite Earths, F.A.N.'s existence was erased from DC continuity.
