Powers: Fastback possessed superspeed as well as an aura that protected him from friction heat. Fastback was protected by his turtle shell, which he could remove when needed.

History: The villainous Starro launched a meteor at Earth, but Superman intercepted it, shattering it into six pieces. The six pieces entered the dimension of Earth-C, populated entirely by anthropomorphic funny animals. One fragment landed in the Okey-Dokey Swamp, home of yokel Timmy Joe. He gained the power of superspeed, and became a superhero, Fastback, the Reptilian Rocket. Fastback sought out the other heroes created by the meteor, and they banded together as the Zoo Crew to defeat Starro.

(Teen Titans III #31 (fb, BTS)) - Fastback learned that Dark Alley, impersonating Alley-Kat-Abra, had sold the secrets of the Zoo Crew to president Mallord Fillmore. She sent him into the timestream 100 years in the future to keep him quiet. The Zoo Crew reformed to defeat Dark Alley, and they went into the timestream to find Fastback.

Fastback received a profile in Who's Who: The Definitive Directory of the DC Universe #7. He received an entry in Who's Who: The Definitive Directory of the DC Universe #26 under the Zoo Crew entry.

Earth-C was an alternate dimension, not a parallel Earth, and was not destroyed in the Crisis on Infinite Earths.
