First Appearance: Green Lantern III #83 (February, 1997)

Powers: Fatality was an expert in numerous fighting styles and armed with an arsenal of weapons culled from across the universe including a spear that shot energy blasts and let her fly, shuriken-like explosives that could be thrown, a cloaking generator, and gauntlets that emitted magnetic force. She possessed a ship capable of intergalactic travel by creating wormholes in space.

History: (Green Lantern III #83-85) - Yraa was the eldest child of Xanshi's royal family and was sent off-planet to study under the Warlords of Okaara. While she was away Xanshi was destroyed, partially because Green Lantern John Stewart made a poor decision during the Cosmic Odyssey. She didn't know about Stewart's involvement, but knew the Green Lantern Corps failed to save her planet from destruction. She took on the identity of Fatality and traveled the universe slaying Green Lanterns. When the GLC disbanded she went to Earth and sought out Kyle Rayner, the universe's last Green Lantern, and tried to kill him. After a brief battle she fled and went to his apartment and stole his power battery. With Kyle's power running out he followed Fatality off-planet and through a wormhole, then created a power ring spaceship to combat Fatality. Both their ships crash-landed on a nearby planet. Although badly injured Fatality defeated the powerless Kyle and was ready to kill him when he revealed that John Stewart was the one responsible for the destruction of Xanshi, and told her that killing him or John would never bring her people back. Fatality was unmoved, but a tentacled alien attacked them both. During the fight Fatality was dragged to her apparent death by the alien, and Kyle regained. Kyle searched for her body, but only found her severed arm.

(Green Lantern III #132) - Fatality survived her fight against Kyle Rayner and had her right arm replaced with a prosthetic. Qwardians gave her a yellow power ring, knowing she was too weak-willed to use it to its' full potential, but they wanted her to give it a trial run. She caused havoc on a NYC waterfront until Kyle Rayner arrived and they fought. She endangered the lives of a number of civilians, so that Kyle would have his hands full and couldn't pursue her. She went to John Stewarts apartment, and told him he had to pay for being the one responsible for the destruction of her planet. She told John that before she killed him she would make him watch her torture his girlfriend Merayn. Kyle saved John and Merayn and defeated her. She had a breakdown and begged Kyle to kill her, or she would never stop trying to kill the remaining GLs. He refused but made her give up the yellow ring. As she removed it it detonated and disappeared and she lost her left arm, and Kyle took her to S.T.A.R. Labs for treatment.

(Villains United #1) - Fatality joined “Lex Luthor’s” Society.

(Villains United #2) - Lex Luthor wanted to destroy the Secret Six III, a group of dissident villains that refused to join the Society, so he sent Fatality and a number of other Society members to confront the Six aboard the Petrovia, a Russia cargo freighter carrying Thanagarian weapons destined for the Society. The Society defeated the Secret Six and brought them back to Lex Luthor.

(Villains United #3) - Fatality was among the Society members assigned to guard the Secret Six while the Crime Doctor tortured them for information about their leader Mockigbird. The Secret Six escaped and defeated Fatality and her compatriots, and during the battle Scandal of the Secret Six bit off Fataliy’s ear.

(Green Lantern: Sinestro Corps Special #1) - Fatality was recruited for the Sinestro Corps. They attempted to create order in the universe through fear, and they tried to destroy the Green Lantern Corps and invade Earth, but were repelled.
