Powers: Fate was infused with the energies of Cahos and Order, giving him precognitive abilities, superhuman strength and durability, and an immunity to magic-based attacks. He wielded a knife and ankh-shaped darts forged from the amulet of Fate and the helmet of Nabu, and his weapons never missed

History:

(Green Lantern III #81) - Coast City; Fate was among the heroes who attended a memorial service for Green Lantern Hal Jordan.

(JSA #63(fb, BTS) - When Fate died, his spirit was diverted into Fate’s amulet by Nabu.

(JSA#63) - Fate complained to Nabu that he was the only spirit in Fate’s amulet that didn’t have a significant other. Nabu broke his chains, but Dr. Fate entered the amulet and transferred his power into Fate and the other spirits in the amulet. Dr. Fate told Nabu he wanted him to learn compassion, and entrusted the job of teaching him to the other spirits.
