History: (Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen #130) - A gang of crooks set up the newspaper the Morning Mercury as a criminal front. They dressed up as the Flying Mercurys with jet-boots to fly across Metropolis and distribute advertisements for the new paper, but they only intended to stay in Metropolis overnight. As night fell their massive one-night crimespree got under way, as they flew across Metropolis and robbed everything in sight. Jimmy Olsen, who was impersonating Robin, had figured out their game, because he'd earlier heard them using incorrect newsie lingo, and he broke into the Morning Mercury building. They roughed him up, and he was about to be crushed by their printing press before Superman rescued him and rounded up the gang.
