Powers: Galaxa possessed vast superhuman strength and durability, and could fire destructive energy blasts. Galaxa could construct multiple bodies through energy manifestations. She could absorb worldseeds, the essence of planets, destroying the targeted planet and empowering herself.

History: (Showcase '93 #4, 5) - Galaxa was a cosmic being that devoured planets worldseeds to absorb their cosmic power. She wanted the Earth hero to use his techno-magic powers to summon Earth's worldseed for her, so she contracted the villains the Ironmongers and Blacksmyth to capture him. She used a cosmic accelerator to force Blue Devil to use his powers, but Gaea spoke to Blue Devil and lent her the Earth's power to battle Galaxa. Blue Devil fared well until Galaxa used her energy powers to blast the worldseed, depowering Blue Devil, and separating him from his Blue Devil costume. He was thrilled to be human again, but the joy was brief, as Galaxa forced him to merge with the suit so she could keep the worldseed on a plane where she could devour it. She began to drain the orldseed, but Blue Devil's friend Morty used a device that dampened his techno-magic, disrupting the interface between Galaxa and the worldseed. Blue Devil got the drop on her and destroyed the energy manifestation body she was using, scattering her atoms across the galaxy.
