Powers: Glory Shredder possessed superhuman strength and speed. He wore an armored suit and was armed with a miniature plasma grenade, fragmentation grenades and a number of firearms.

History: (Impulse #37 (fb)) - Sgt. Tole led a team of commandos behind enemy lines in Germany during WWII. He was captured and shot up, but nazi scientists decided to use him as a subject in their super-soldier program. They used the Ray of Conquest to heal him and give him superhuman powers. They brainwashed him, named him Sergeant Blitzkrieg and began training him. The brainwashing didn't take, and he turned on the nazis. As Sgt. Glory he spent the rest of the war battling the Axis and teamed with Max Mercury on one occasion. After the war he snapped and became the vigilante Glory Shredder, who had no regard for casualties when it came to killing communists and criminals.

(Impulse #37) - Glory Shredder attacked Professor Morlo in prison, and although he didn't succeed in killing him, he warned he was going to murder Morlo's supervillain son the Transparent Weapon and his grandson Evil Eye. Shredder went to Manchester, Alabama to do that and found the Weapon holding up Pete's convenience store. He shot up the store trying to hit the Weapon, and when Impulse tried to stop him he assumed he was helping the Weapon and went after him. Max Mercury joined the fight, and Shredder was forced to flee.

(Impulse #38) -Shredder watched a news report of Max Mercury making a plea to Manchester's supervillain community to help save the town from being flooded.
