History

(Green Lantern III #24) - G'nort was summoned to Oa by Hal Jordan. He got lost in space for a while but eventually found Oa, where he accepted Hal's invitation to join the new Green Lantern Corps.

(Green Lantern II #25) - G'nort and the Corps were on hand to watch Hal Jordan and Guy Gardner fight it out to determine who would be Earth's Green Lantern. The Corps held the Justice League back from interfering, but seeing the toll Hal and Guy's battle was taking on New York City they demanded they change the nature of the fight or take it to space. Hal and Guy fought man to man without power rings. Hal won, and the Corps celebrated.

Green Lantern III #35) - G'nort and the GLC were called to Oa to defend the Guardians against Entropy. Entropy made the GLC question the Guardians and each other, but they persevered and defeated him. The Guardians gave G'nort and the GLC their new mission; each Corps member must go and recruit twelve new Corpsmen. The Guardians also explained G'nort's importance in the Corps, he not only brought humor to the group but a sense of the absurd. Absurdity was important to cope with the unpredictability of a rapidly changing universe.

(Green Lantern III #45) - The Darkstars tried to prevent G'nort and the GLC from interfering with the Triarch, but the Corps' experience working as a team helped them defeat the Darkstars. As G'nort and the Corps were about to deal with the Guardians, L.E.G.I.O.N. called in a fleet of ships to confront them.
