History: (Dragonlance #17) - During the Second Dragon War dragons ravaged the country. Wistan Dawnbringer's family was killed, and his village evacuated in the aftermath of a dragon attack by the Knights of Solamnia. He wanted to run off by his own and get revenge, but Lord Sigmun offered him a chance to join the Knights if he foreswore vengeance. He went with them, and that night a band of goblins and a sorceress following a dragon attacked their camp. Impetuous Herrol died during the attack before it was repulsed, and young Wistan understood the importance of disciple, telling Lord Sigun he wouldn't let him down.
