All of these jewel-weapons used designs adapted from the Top's weaponry.History: (Flash II #182 (fb)) - Lisa Snart an her brother Len were constantly abused by their drunken father, and they rarely saw their mother. After their mother died Len moved out, despite Lisa's’ pleas for him to stay. She was fascinated with figure skating, and Len told her to pursue her dream.
(Flash I #250, 251)-Lisa Snart, sister of the notorious Captain Cold, was a champion figure skater who performed under the name Lisa Star. She owed her great success to the spinning skills taught to her by her boyfriend Rosco Dillon, who, as the super-villain Top, was one of her brother's allies. In one fight against Flash II, the Top was accidentally killed, and Lisa vowed revenge. She adopted the identity of Golden Glider and armed herself with weapons which she stole from her brother or which had been bequeathed to her by Top. Learning that Flash was in love with Iris Allen, Golden Glider tried unsuccessfully to kill her. Flash captured her, but she later escaped prison and developed an arsenal of jewel-weapons using Top's weaponry designs. She discovered Flash's secret identity of Barry Allen and tried to kill his parents, but was again thwarted.
She hypnotized writer Beau Baer into becoming a superhero named Ringmaster and used a mind-control device to force Iris to fall in love with him. Flash defeated her and Iris and Baer were released from her control.
(Flash I #301-303) - Glider reunited with her dead lover the Top, whose spirit had possessed the body of Henry Allen (Flash II's father). They planned to kill the Flash and transfer Top's spirit into the hero's body. Glider destroyed a commemorative staue of the Flash in Central City Park and threatened the park goers. When Flash II confronted her she hypnotized him with one of her gimmicked jewels, making him believe that she was his late wife Iris Allen. Golden Glider convinced Flash II to help her escape, but the next time they met he beat her by staying out of range of the hypnotic jewel. Top later busted her out of jail and together they almost succeeded in killing and possessing Flash II's body. Flash II tricked the Top into exiting his father's body, leaving Glider all alone once again.
(Flash I #314) - Captain Cold broke Glider out of jail. Together they ambushed Heat Wave in his apartment and beat him as punishment for deserting the Rogue's Gallery.
(Flash II #27) - After Barry Allen died Golden Glider felt her need for vengeance was fulfilled. She and her brother formed "Golden Snowball Recoveries" and hired themselves out as bounty hunters, and even worked with Flash III on one occasion.
(Flash II #182 (fb)) - Cold and Glider broke up Golden Snowball and returned to a life of crime after Glider had an ugly incident with her father.
(Flash II #113) - Golden Glider soon grew bored and returned to a life of crime. She outfitted her then-boyfriend with a set of weapons identical to Captain Colds' and gave him the identity of Chillblaine. Together they started a crime spree, and when Chillblaine died, she simply found a new boyfriend and made him Chillblaine. She repeated this process several times, using Chillblaine as a fall guy until someone finally wised up. This Chillblaine murdered Golden Glider and attempted to freeze Keystone City. Captain Cold would later kill this Chillblaine, avenging his sister.
