Powers: Green Cigarette could emit a number of gases from his burning head, including truthgas, teargas, swampgas and sarin. The Cigarette was easily winded by physical exertion.

History: (Impulse #45 (fb, BTS), Impulse #38) - The Green Cigarette established himself as a criminal mastermind in a career that lasted over thirty years, but he often failed to make any financial gain. Max Mercury made a plea to any supervillain living in Manchester to help him save the town from a flood. The Cigarette volunteered his services, but he wasn't useful for anything except drying the shoes of the workers piling up sandbags.

(Impulse #45) - He assembled a cigarette-themed gang including Coffin Nails, Lighter, Matches, Stubbs and his lawyer Gaspar. They attempted to rob a bank, but Impulse showed up and stopped them. The bank's faulty security doors collapsed the roof on them, burying the Cigarette. The bank employees saved him, and in the Christmas spirit he decided to reform. He donated all his earnings from his criminal career, all fifty dollars of it, to Impulse's school, which was suffering from budget cutbacks.
