History: (Green :Lantern vol. 2 #164, Omega Men #26)-Green Man was born on the planet Uxor, a world where society always takes precedence over individuality. Uxorans do not own possessions, or even names. Green Man was a misfit who longed for identity, and readily accepted a position of Green Lantern when he was approached by the Guardians of the Universe. He successfully defeated many threats, but was never able to overcome the Spider Guild. When the Spider Guild invaded the Vegan Star-system, Green Man allied himself with the Omega Men to push them back. In doing so he had violated a non-interference pact between the Guardians of the Universe and the Psions of the Vegan Star-system. Green Man was ordered by the Guardians to cease and desist, but he could not in good conscience abandon the Omega Men. Green Man was captured by the Psions, who performed experimental surgery on him and confiscated his Green Lantern gear. Green Man was given mental powers by the surgery, and was able to help the Omega Men defeat the Psions. He then quit his post as a Green Lantern and became an official member of the Omega Men.

(Invasion! #1)-The Dominators planned to decimate any allies Earth might have before they invaded the planet, and the Omega Men were on their list of enemies. Green Man died fighting alongside the Omega Men.
