He sewed up a superhero costume and leapt into action as Grooble Man. He confronted some bank robbers, but the criminals soon picked up on the fact that he said the word Grooble every minute in order to maintain his super-strength. After saying the word grooble the bank robbers gained super-strength and were easily a match for Grooble Man. Then the bank security and customers started saying grooble and a superhuman free-for-all erupted. Grooble Man walked out of the bank, deciding there had to be a better way to go about being a superhero.
Comments: Created by John Jacobson, Steve Skeates & Sergio Aragones.
"The Secret Origin of Grooble Man!" was narrated by Cain.
Placing any Plop! story in mainstream DC continuity is kind of an iffy proposition. I say that since the narrators of all these stories were Cain, Abel or Eve that even if they didn't occur on Earth they could have easily happened in The Dreaming.
