History: H.I.V.E. (Hierarchy of International Vengeance and Extermination) were a terrorist cabal specializing in assassinations. They clashed a number of times with the New Teen Titans.

(Firestorm II #17) - Luthor used the hero Firestorm and Gehenna to power a top-secret Brazilian site. Firestorm broke loose, and rescued Gehenna from her captivity. The heroes were beset by Black Adam, Parasite, Syonide, and the new Royal Flush Gang. The battle was joined by Queen Bee and the H.I.V.E., but they couldn't stop Firestorm from blowing up the installation and escaping.

(El Diablo III #1) - H.I.V.E. set up an arms deal with L.A. crimelord Chato Santana, selling him standard H.I.V.E. issue rapid fire energy pistols for his gang. Agent Aaron and SWAT busted up the deal, and H.I.V.E. teleported away, seeing no reason to help Santana since their business was concluded.

(El Diablo III #3) - The H.I.V.E. went into business with Jorge Ramos, the new leader of Los Reyes Locos. Santana, now the supernatural avenger El Diablo, interrogated a number of of their members to learn Jorge's location, and proceeded to slaughter them.

(Blackest Night: Titans #1) - Deathstroke killed a H.I.V.E. member in remembrance of his son's death, and visited Ravager's grave to tell him H.I.V.E. was still paying for what they did to him.
