History: (Flash Comics #93) - Hopeless Henry was overjoyed when the circus came to town for the first time in years. A circus worker thought he was trying to sneak in under the big tent because he was bent over, but Henry informed him he was doubled over because he’d been suffering from lumbago for the last few days.

(Flash Comics #94) - Hopeless Henry went to the Ajax Gym, pulled up a chair and started reading and smoking cigars. A gym trainer asked Henry if he needed any help and Henry responded that he was fine, his doctor had just recommended he spend two hours at a gym every week.
