History: (Plastic Man #12) - Horseface was raised in a barn and found he could communicate with horses. As an adult he fixed races by commanding the sure win horse to stay still, while making his own longshot bet win the race. Horseface raked in the dough, but caused a number of problems. Underworld figures and tough guys who thought bookies or horse trainers were fixing the races attacked them, and gangs accused each other of fixing races, leading to a massacre. Plastic Man observed Horseface, and ended his winning streak by disguising himself as a horse that Horseface couldn’t control. Horseface flipped out at the idea of losing his bet, so he shot at Plas the horse. Plas had a first-hand account of hypnosis that he used on horses, which was enough to charge Horseface with fixing races.

In the pre-Crisis DC Universe Horseface lived on Earth-2. Horseface, like most characters from the golden age Plastic Man stories, may or may not be a part of post-Crisis DC continuity.

Horseface was originally a Quality Comics character, which DC obtained the rights to in 1956.
