Hourman's timeship could travel through time or outside of time at Timepoint.History (JLA #12 (fb, BTS)<853rd Century> Hourman was an intelligent machine colony, DNA-programmed with Tyler Miraclo Gene biosoftware that based him on the DNA of Rex Tyler, the original Hourman.
(DC One Million #1 (fb, BTS)) - The greatest heroes of the 853rd century, including Hourman, teamed up to become Justice Legion A, with each member patrolling a different planet.
(JLA #12) - Hourman met Green Lantern Kyle Rayner on a dead world filled with hundreds of heroes that perished in their quest for the Philosopher’s Stone. He told Kyle the misuse of the Stone by Lex Luthor sent ripples across spacetime and threatened to destroy it. He warned Kyle that if Lex Luthor’s Injustice Gang defeated the JLA the Stone would be destroyed and Darkseid would enslave Earth. With this he sent Kyle to Wonderworld to seek aid from the Theocracy.
(JLA #15) - Metron traveled to the year 85271 and gave the Worlogog, a miniature version of all spacetime, to Hourman of Justice Legion A, hoping to groom Hourman as his successor. He warned Hourman that another turning point that could radically alter the timeline for the worse was coming, ad it would be his job to prevent this. The Justice Legion told Hourman to prepare for deep time travel.
(JLA #23, 1,000,000, DC One Million #1-4) - Superman Prime Kal-El prepared to return to Earth from his Fortress of Solitude in the center of the sun after one hundred centuries, and the Justice Legion prepared a massive celebration. They invited heroes from across time and space, including the JLA of the 21st century. Hourman sent the JLA to their time, but was unable to retrieve them, because he’d been implanted with a virus by Vandal Savage and Solaris. The virus threatened the lives of the Justice Legion and all of humanity, eating away their minds, and took over the programming of every machine on Earth. The 21st Century Vandal Savage destroyed Montevideo, Uruguay with a nuclear-armed Rocket Red suit, and the Legion contained the fallout. The Hourman Virus, which Starman helped bring to the past because he’d sided with Solaris, was actually a computer program looking for a system, Solaris itself. The Justice Legion constructed Solaris to save Earth. The virus left Earth to create Solaris’ A.I. Starman regretted his betrayal of the Justice Legion when he met Ted Knight, the original Starman. To redeem himself he stopped the newly constructed Solaris from destroying Earth by opening up a black hole in its computer brain. Starman reflected that he might be remembered as a villain, but that his actions led to the creation of Solaris in the past, and thus his own present. He then activated the self-destruct mechanism in his suit, killing himself. Supermen punched through the time barrier, returning the Legion to their own time. Solaris was on a rampage decimating planets, and had already killed hundreds of Justice Legionnaires, but the JLA stopped him by having Green Lantern cause him to go super-nova. The Justice Legion witnessed the return of Superman Prime, and to honor him Hourman folded time and space to resurrect Krypton and everyone who’d lived there before the planet exploded. Superman was reunited with Lois Lane, whose DNA had been saved and stored inside of Solaris.
(JLA #28-31) - Hourman joined the ranks of the JLA. The 5th Dimensional invasion he predicted came to pass, with genie Lxz causing havoc around the world. The JLA teamed up with the Justice Society of America, and tried to find J.J. Thunder, who was in possession of the 5-D genie Thunderbolt. Lkz tried to stop them by animating the buildings of Keystone City. Hourman stayed aboard the Watchtower, and when Superman prepared to enter the 5th Dimension, Hourman stood by while Captain Marvel sucker punched him and took his place, knowing this is how history was supposed to unfold. Triumph broke into the Watchtower, and because he wasn’t supposed to exist in the timeline he screwed with Hourman’s time-vision and was easily able to take out the hero. Hourman recovered and helped Steel, who was fleeing Triumph, and warned him time was running short to end the 5-D invasion and save Earth. Superman woke up and defeated Triumph and Lkz ended his war when he agreed to merge with Thunderbolt.
(JSA Secret Files #1) - Flash Jay Garrick told Hourman about the death of Sandman and asked him to attend the funeral.
(JLA #38, 40, 41) - Hourman was among the legion of heroes summoned by the JLA to quell worldwide outbreaks of warfare that were incited by Mageddon.
(JSA #10) - Hourman returned to JSA Headquarters and found it trashed. His teammate Wildcat explained that he had a rowdy brawl with the Injustice Society while the JSA was away.
(Young Justice: Sins of Youth #1) - At Star-Spangled Kid’s insistence Hourman and the JSA attended Young Justice’s Justice for All rally in Washington, as did Old Justice, the Titans and JLA. It was interrupted by Klarion, who magically de-aged most of the heroes into children, and turned Hourman into an android child. Doiby Dickles pulled out an extraterrestrial aging gun to return the heroes to their proper age, but another of Klarion’s spells intercepted his shot. The result was that the younger heroes present were aged to adulthood, but the other heroes remained children.
(Sins of Youth Secret Files #1, Sins of Youth: JLA, Jr. #1) - The de-aged Hourboy and JSA had a dispute with the de-aged JLA that resulted in them brawling for hours. Once they made up the JSA and Doiby Dickles went aboard the Steel Eagle so they could travel to Myrg so Doiby could find another aging gun to reverse Klarion's spell.
(Sins of Youth: Starwoman and the JSA (Junior Society) #1) - Hourman, Doiby and the JSA battled Prince Marieb on Myrg, retrieved an aging gun, and returned to Earth.
(Young Justice: Sins of Youth #2) - Doiby tried using his new raygun on Hourman and the other heroes affected by Klarion’s spell but it had no effect. Since the heroes’ ages were skewed by a combination of magic and science, they would need Klarion’s cooperation to undo the transformation. The heroes attacked Agenda’s headquarters in Alaska, where Superboy, Superman, Wonder Girl and Wonder Woman were being held hostage. The hq was defended by the Junior Injustice Society, but the heroes prevailed, forced the Agenda to flee, and freed the prisoners. They then forced Klarion to team with Doiby and return everyone to their proper age.
(JSA #65 (fb, BTS))- <22nd Century> Hourman had adventures with the Space Ranger and his robotic crew. Meeting the roots was an eye-opener for Hourman, and he started thinking of himself as a synthetic lifeform instead of an android.
(JSA #65, 66)- Hourman received a distress signal sent across time by Mr. Terrific, alerting Hourman that Hourman II was on the verge of death at Time-Point. Hourman III took several JSAers to Time-Point. Dr. Mid-Nite saved Hourman II’s life, but in the process Hourman I’s allotted hour at Time-Point ran out. A door to the past opened, and he prepared to go back in time, but his son refused to let him. Hourman II jumped into the past, intending to be the one Extant killed. Hourman I followed, and they tussled, each refusing to let the other die. Hourman III stopped them, set up a holographic field, and took Hourman I’s place as the one murdered by Extant. Before he sacrificed himself Hourman III gave Hourman I his hourglass, and Hourman I intended to one day use it to rebuild the android.
