Powers: Ignition wore armor armed with an arsenal of highly destructive weapons. He possessed the powers of flight and invulnerability.

History: After Joker usurped the Fifth Dimensional technology of Mr. Mxyzptlk he created Bizarro-Earth, populated by villains from his own twisted imagination. Ignition was among these villains Joker created, and after Bizarro-Earth was erased from reality Ignition was somehow unaffected. He fell in with General Zod and helped Zod take over the nation of Pokolistan.

(Action Comics #780) - Zod, Faora, Kancer and Ignition led a bloody invasion of Berlin. President Luthor sent Superman to stop them, and Zod told him he attacked Berlin simply because he could. Their fight was a stalemate, and they agreed to conclude their fight later when Superman had to retreat to confront Imperiex in Kansas.

(JLA: Our Worlds at War #1) - Zod, Faora and Ignition went to Frankfurt, Germany to battle an Imperiex Probe that had landed on Earth to hollow out the planet.

(Adventures of Superman #595, Superman: The Man of Steel #117) - Ignition joined up with General Zod, and met President Luthor at the White House during the Imperiex War. He promised manpower to help Luthor defeat Brainiac-13 and Darkseid if Luthor promised to make Zod a world power, and Luthor agreed. Zod, Ignition, Kancer and Faora fought off Brainiac's drones in Metropolis and enabled Lex to enter LexCorp Towers, where Brainiac had his temporal displacement cannon.

When Zod died Ignition fled the country and has not been heard from since.
