History: The Freedom Brigade were legendary heroes who expected their children to follow in their footsteps, but their children were all misfits and screw-ups in one way or another. Merryman lacked his parents strength, Dumb Bunny lacked her parents wisdom, Awkwardman was a klutz, Blimp moved slower than molasses and White Feather was a consummate coward. They were pressured to band together as the Inferior Five, and managed a semi-successful career fighting crime, mostly due to dumb luck.
