History: (Suicide Squad I #1, 2) - The Jihad was a team of super-powered terrorists for hire operating out of the nation of Qurac. Qurac’s President Marlo assembled the initial team of Chimera, Djinn, Jaculi I, Manticore I, Ravan and Rustam and their first mission was to assassinate the U.S. President. Unknown to them they had been infiltrated from the very beginning by Suicide Squad member Nightshade, who was posing as member Chimera. The Suicide Squad made them the target of a pre-emptive attack, killing Jaculi I, Manticore I and crippling Ravan.
