History: (Fables # 52) -  Joel's job in Fabletown was to cut Rapunzel's hair so she could pass for a mundy. He always acknowledged that his occupation is cutting hair, but not in general and not a stylist.. One specific head of hair. Three times a day. Once he finished lopping off Rapunzels locks (the only way she can go out into the mundy world, and even then, no one place for more than forty five minutes, lest her hair start growing again and raising suspicion) he sent them to different wig manufacturers; all of which he has convinced the hair he acquired was from a large group of Amish girls. He was standing in the street with his brother, Joel, and was approached by Red Riding Hood, the newest immigrant from the Homelands, for a haircut. He informed her that he wasn’t really so much of a hair stylist as someone who chopped off a length of hair and that her best bet would be to go into the mundy world. She asked him to accompany her, and he agreed. As she got her hair cut, she started talking about someone named Ambrose after he mentions how surprised he was that she didn’t bring Flycatcher with her instead. After the salon, he agreed to take her shopping as long as he’s back for his afternoon appointment, which he will not name. After they returned to Fabletown, Joel carried her shopping bags into the business office and she told him to leave them there; she’d have Ambrose (whoever that is) help her with them.
