History:

(DC One Million #4) - <853rd century> Superman Prime Kal-El prepared to return to Earth from his Fortress of Solitude in the center of the sun after one hundred centuries, and the Justice Legion prepared a massive celebration. To honor Superman Prime Hourman folded time and space to resurrect Krypton and everyone who d lived there before the planet exploded, including Jor-El.

History:

(Adventure Comics I #304) - Kryptonian criminal Roz-Em paid a crooked facial surgeon to make him look like Jor-El’s brother Nim-El, who guarded the Armory of Forbidden Weapons, hoping to loot it. His plot was uncovered by Nim-El and Jor-El, and he was put into suspended animation inside a space capsule and sent into orbit around Krypton.

(Action Comics I #378 (fb)) - One of Jor-El’s experimental rockets, malfunctioned and was about to crash into his lab, but Rol-Nac, an extraterrestrial refuge visiting Krypton, deflected the rocket with his spaceship’s repeller ray, saving Jor-El and Lara. Rol-Nac and the couple formed a close friendship, with Rol-Nac declaring them two of the finest people he ever met. Lara was soon to give birth, and they asked Rol-Nac to be the baby’s godfather, and he accepted. Joe-El and Lara took the newborn Kal-El to the sun temple of Kryptonopolis for his christening, sponsored by Rol-Nac.

(New Adventures of Superboy #17) - Jor-El took Kal-El to the Kryptonopolis Zoo, and on the flight home Kal saw his first robot. Jor-El explained that automatons performed all the drudgers on Krypton, and that he was working on even more advanced models. He allowed infant Kal to watch as he put the finishing touches on his Teacher-Robot.
