History: (Mystery In Space #53) - Kly Toler was mentored by Jedro and became the most famous escape artist of the 22nd Century. Jedro was believed dead and Toler was always haunted by the idea that he never truly surpassed his master. The Solar Intelligance Service contacted him because the Sport Club of Saturn was instigating a war between earth and Saturn and they needed more information on the Club. They predicted that he would be captured, but would be able to escape because of his talents. He discovered his old master Jedro was behind the conspiracy, and Jedro placed him in an escape-proof prison. There were four open doors, but as soon as he stepped into the electric eye monitoring each door it closed. He reasoned that the floor panels were the only thing the electric eye didn't react to, so he tore one up, raised it over his head and escaped, pleased that he had definitively surpassed his master.
