Powers: Lady Lazarus was a low-level spirit drawn towards pain. The blood from her slashed wrists could make an addict of anyone who drank it.

History: (Hellblazer I #278) - Lady Lazarus was a low-level spirit drawn towards people in pain, and who served as a tutor at an alchemy school. Lazarus was assigned Epiphany Greaves as her pupil, and took advantage of her vulnerability after her mother died, getting her addicted to the blood that poured from Lazarus' wrists. Epiphany graduated, but made a deal to see Lazarus once a year to feed from her. The addiction got stronger over the years, and Lazarus enjoyed seeing her need what she had. Epiphany's husband John Constantine learned about Lady Lazarus, and when Epiphany summoned her he banished her with god's breathe, and told Epiphany she needed to kick her addiction.

(Hellblazer I #281) - When John's niece Gemma sicced a demon on him Epiphany cooked an elixir to deal with it. The elixir of putrescence used the last of the distilled Lady Lazarus, and Epiphany admitted to John that she was sad to lose her old lover.
