While in Interdimensional Non-Space it had the power to completely warp reality to its' whim.History: (Demon II #21) - The Lurker was formed one thousand years ago from the magical tensions that resulted from the bonding of Jason Blood to the demon Etrigan, and lived in Intradimensional Non-Space that existed through the Blood/Demon bond. It watched the lives of Blood and the Demon for years, and only realized it could affect their lives when they accidentally entered his Non-Space together in an attempt to reach Earth from the bizarre Region Beyond. It immediately desired a life of it's own, and planned to trap Blood and Demon in Non-Space, while it would live on Earth. The Lurker messed with their minds, forcing Etrigan to fight an illusory version of his foe Lobo, and showing Jason an illusion of his friend Randu Singh's head on a hook. The Lurker attacked Etrigan with an illusory horde of his enemies while Blood was confronted by an illusion of Jason's love interest Glenda Mark, who tried to seduce him, and said all she wanted was to make him happy at last. An illusion of Jason's close friend Harry Matthews cheered Jason on, saying he deserved to be with Glenda just like the Lurker deserved its freedom. Jason pushed past the illusions and told Etrigan that since they were in the Non-Space of their own minds all they had to do was stop believing in the Lurker and think their way out. They had inadvertently created the Lurker, and thus could destroy it. Etrigan reluctantly clasped hands with Jason, and by their combined force of will the Lurker lost its power and exploded.
