Powers: The Magic Genie was a powerful spirit confined to a magic lamp, and when it was rubbed he fulfilled his master's wishes with his powerful magic.

History:

(Challengers of the Unknown I #16) - A man rubbed the lamp to summon the Magic Genie, and was doused with water. The Genie apologized, saying he was taking a bath when he was summoned.

(Challengers of the Unknown I #20) - A man bought the genies lamp from an auction sale, and when hi wife wished they could visit far-off places he teleported them to a remote island with no life in sight for miles around.

(Sea Devils #18) - A man in the desert found the Genie's lamp, rubbed it, and asked for water. The Genie responded by sending him a tidal wave, and didn't know why he was so unhappy.
