Powers: As a Green Lantern, Markot wielded a power ring powered  by his willpower and capable of doing almost anything he could imagine as long as it was recharged by his emerald power battery once every 24 hours. Examples of its' powers include flight, phasing, creating giant objects formed of energy, and force fields. 

History: (Green Lantern / Sinestro Corps: Secret Files #1, Green Lasntern IV #13) - Markot was raised on an isolated outpost with his father. He was inducted into the Green Lantern Corps, and was one of the only Lanterns to enjoy Prime Duty, guarding the Sun Eater cell of Superboy-Prime for months at a time. Five was finally relieved of Prime Duty by Guy Gardner, who was being punished for accompanying Green Lantern Hal Jordan on an unauthorized mission on Biot.

(Green Lantern / Sinestro Corps: Secret Files #1) -  Markot was reassigned to guard Sinestro after the end of the Sinestro Corps War.
