History: (Cartoon Network Starring #1) - Townsville was razed, but the Mayor was concerned with a stain on his new suit. Sara Bellum convinced him to prioritize problems and call in the Powerpuff girls. The Girls arrived at Townsville Hall just as it was destroyed by the perpetrator of the rampage, Mojo Jojo. He showed off his new supersonic cyber suit, and while taking time to brag about it the Powerpuff girls got the drop on him. He fought them off using his superpowered armor but spent valuable time gloating, rambling and repeating himself. The Powerpuff Girls, seeing no other route to victory, offered Mojo Jojo delicious Mostess Fruit Pies, and he couldn’t resist their delicious taste and gave up, allowing himself to be taken to jail with a supply of fruit pies.
(Powerpuff Girls #3) - A meteor was about to strike Townsville, and the Mayor assured Sara Bellum he had everything in hand because he just bought a personal digital assistant to keep his meetings. Bellum insisted he call the Powerpuff Girls, but the girls were distracted after an ice cream truck passed by Pokey Oaks Elementary. The meteor hit a skyscraper, but the building’s spire popped the meteor and caused it to deflate. Dr. Utonium investigated the meteor’s tiny remains and determined that it was composed of a type of polymer that caused it to expand due to the heat of Earth’s atmosphere. Against Utonium’s advice the Mayor took the meteor home to use as a paperweight. He wasn’t distressed that the Powerpuff girls weren’t at the ready to save the day because he thought they tried their best. The meteor gave off strange radiation that gave superpowers to every resident of Townsville. The Mayor told the Girls they wouldn’t have to save the day all the time anymore, but the Girls insisted saving the day wasn’t as easy as it looked. A giant monster rampaged through the city and Dr. Utonium, the Mayor and Sara Bellum teamed up to fight it, telling the Powerpuff Girls to relax. The monster wasn’t easily put down, so the Girls kindergarten teacher Ms. Keane joined the fight, even though the Mayor tried to shoo her away and started arguing with her. Ac construction crew was angry they couldn’t beat the monster, who was keeping them from getting to work, and a fight broke out. The fight spread as all of Townsville’s newly superpowered residents started brawling. Buttercup and Bubbles went to get rid of the meteor, which was causing more problems than it was worth, while Blossom stopped everyone from fighting and used her giant monster fighting experience to show them the proper way to team up and defeat the monster. Bubbles and Buttercup couldn’t destroy the meteor, so they threw it into the air, and with its’ presence gone the Townville citizens returned to normal. Bubbles and Buttercup lied to Blossom, assuring her the meteor was in a safe place where it couldn’t hurt anyone. It actually landed in Antarctica, empowering the local wildlife and leading to them engaging each other in a superpowered clash.
(Powerpuff Girls #4) - The Powerpuff Girls were excited to get a package in the mail from a fan. It contained Megatown Smasher, a videogame where the players controlled giant monsters and the object was to destroy Megatown. The Girls reasoned that after spending all their free time saving Townsville it would be a healthy stress relief to play bad guys and smash stuff. They didn’t realize the “fan” that sent them Megatown smasher was actually HIM, who built a reality distorter into the game that ensured what they destroyed in the game would be destroyed in real life in Townsville. The game hooked the Girls, and bubbles was more than happy to get out all the pent up aggression she kept hidden. The game’s avatars wrecked Townsville, and the mayor called in a panic, but the girls were too busy with their game to answer so Sara Bellum had to scoop up the Mayor and save him as a giant monster smashed Townsville Hall. HIM was so pleased with his scheme that he planned on making more copies of Megatown Smasher and sending them out to kids all across the world. Dr. Utonium chided the Girls for not answering the emergency line, and when he told them giant monsters were destroying Townsville the Powerpuff girls realized the connection to the game. They knew only HIM could come up with such a diabolical plot and destroyed the game with their energy beams.
(Powerpuff Girls #5) - Atop his Townsville Volcano-Top Observatory headquarters Mojo Jojo looked out over Townsville, livid that all the money in the Townsville Bank, Armory and diamond district wasn’t his thanks to the meddling of the Powerpuff Girls. He spotted the Girls playing baseball and Buttercup threw a pitch too hard, knocking out one of Bubbles’ teeth. Buttercup blamed Bubbles for not paying attention because she was busy petting a cat, while Blossom told Buttercup she played too rough and they’d see what Dr. Utonium had to say about the situation. Utonium assured Bubbles she wasn’t broken and that all children lost their baby teeth. He calmed her down by saying the Tooth Fairy would leave a quarter under her pillow. Mojo Jojo had a brainstorm, planning on stealing bubbles’ lost tooth to create a Super-Superior Drill that could cut through steel, and that night he visited Bubbles disguised as the Tooth Fairy. With his Super-Superior Drill he robbed the bank, the armory and the diamond district. The Mayor called in a panic after Mojo Jojo robbed him, letting the Powerpuff Girls know he was using Bubbles’ tooth for crime. The Powerpuff Girls energy beams had no effects on the drill, but Bubbles gummed it up using a caramel apple, and Mojo Jojo was sent away in a paddy wagon.
(Powerpuff Girls #6) - Mojo Jojo constantly hungered for the destruction of the Powerpuff Girls, but at the moment he hungered for food and rang up Tony’s Pizza. When he decided to change his order he called again, but misdialed and realized he’d discovered the Powerpuff Girls hotline. Posing as the Mayor he called the Powerpuff Girls, telling them an invisible monster was eating all the food at Malph’s Market. With the Girls occupied on the other side of Townsville Mojo Jojo robbed the Townsville Bank. He called them again as the Mayor, warning them about a fire-breathing water monster wrecking havoc at the Townsville Museum, using their absence to steal a giant laser cannon. The Powerpuff Girls were frustrated with being led on wild goose chases and confronted the Mayor, who assured them he hadn’t called them recently. Dr. Utonium told the Girls that Mojo Jojo now had a giant laser cannon, but wasn’t too worried because he’d need two giant batteries and an expensive focusing lens to power it. The mailman told Utonium he’d just delivered a focusing lens to Mojo Jojo. Mojo called the Girls about a three-headed tarantula attacking the waterfront, but Blossom saw through his trick. They confronted him at Battery World where he was trying to shoplift two giant batteries and beat him up and sent him to jail. The Powerpuff Girls got a call about a half-squid half-pickle monster attacking the Mayor’s office and assumed Mojo Jojo was making another prank call from jail. The monster was legit and the Mayor and Sara Bellum wondered why the Powerpuff Girls weren’t flying to the rescue.
(Powerpuff Girls #7) - The Powerpuff Girls had to go into action without Bubbles, who was obsessed with the children’s program Dr. Blowtop’s Land of Happy Show, and refused to leave her television set. Blossom and Buttercup stopped a rampaging monster, Mojo Jojo and Fuzzy Lumpkins while Bubbles was glued to the TV. Dr. Blowtop said everyone on his show had lost their happiness, and the only way they could get it back was for the kids watching the show to take money from their parents and send it to him. Blossom and Buttercup investigated when dozens of parents in Townsville found their money missing, and realized what was happening when Bubbles took Dr. Utonium’s money he hid in his mattress and the Townsville treasury from the Mayor and delivered it to Dr. Blowtop live on his show. Buttercup had been saying it was time for Bubbles to outgrow children’s shows and showed her that the Land of Happy was nothing but a television set. Dr. Blowtop lost his temper at having his plan foiled, blurting out that stealing money from the parents of Townsville was the first step in his scheme to become a famous supervillain. Bubbles realized she’d been tricked and had no problem wrecking Dr. Blowtop and his cast.
(Powerpuff Girls #8) - A giant monster wrecked Townsville, but the Mayor was distracted because he’d found the boardgame Big Trouble in his attic, and Sara Bellum needed to grab his attention to summon the Powerpuff Girls. The Girls easily dispatched the monster, and the Mayor left Mrs. Bellum to deal with the insurance claims the rampage caused. Sara said she needed a vacation and the Mayor panicked, saying he needed her to help run Townville and cut the crust off his sandwiches. She told him she’d hide his bunny slippers where he’d never find them again if he denied her vacation request so he acquiesced. Before she left Bellum reminded the Mayor to call the Powerpuff Girls at the first sign of trouble. Another giant monster went on a rampage in Townsville, but the Mayor ignored the situation and called the Powerpuff Girls to help him run his office, iron his suits and write his speeches. Buttercup wanted to beat up the rampaging monster, but Blossom insisted they shouldn’t go into action until the Mayor asked them to or it would look like they were undermining him. When the Mayor learned that none of the Powerpuff Girls knew how to make coffee he begged them to bring Sara Bellum back. Sara was luxuriating on a beach, and had enjoyed her five hour vacation, but realized Townsville would end up being destroyed without her around. She returned to her post, and nudged the Mayor to let the Powerpuff Girls take care of the rampaging monster.
(Powerpuff Girls #9) - A nuclear-powered ship docked in Townsville, but accidentally spilled nuclear fuel overboard, mutating a fish into a rampaging monster that wrecked havoc in the town. The Mayor told everyone to calm down, assuring them the monster wasn’t much of a threat until it confronted him and he ran crying to the Powerpuff Girls for help. The Powerpuff Girls confronted the creature, which, despite causing a lot of racket, turned out to be only inches high. They were initially amused until they realized the creature possessed vast superhuman strength and could easily toss them around. The creature’s rampage ended when truck driver bob accidentally ran it over with his 18-wheeler, becoming the hero of the day.
(Powerpuff Girls #9) - Bubbles was excited when Townsville started selling Blowacious Bubble Gum, and went with the Powerpuff Girls to the mall to get some even though Buttercup insisted gum was for babies. The gum interacted with the Chemical X in Bubbles’ body causing her to grow to immense size, destroying the mall. The Mayor was walking through Townsville, trying out his new walking stick, and accidentally popped Bubbles, whose body now had the consistency of bubblegum. Bubbles returned to normal size and the Mayor was pleased that his bumbling had saved the day.
(Powerpuff Girls #11) - Fuzzy Lumpkins entered the Farmville County Fair’s Freakishly Large Produce Competition and was awarded the blue ribbon by the judges, who were worried he’d hurt them if he didn’t win. The Shutter Thug used his special camera to take a picture of Lumpkin’s prize-winning pumpkin, trapping it in the photo. Fuzzy demanded to know who stole his pumpkin and went on a rampage in Townsville. Dr. Utonium tried to take family photos with the Powerpuff Girls, but Buttercup kept making faces. The tension was broken when the Mayor and Sara Bellum phoned the hotline, asking the Girls to stop Fuzzy. The Powerpuff Girls beat down Fuzzy, but as he was being taken away by the police the shutter Thug took a picture of him, adding Fuzzy to his collection. Princess Morbucks attacked the Powerpuff Girls, accusing them of stealing her 100% mink teddy bear Mr. Blackwell, not realizing the Shutter Thug had added it to his collection. During the battle Shutter Thug took a picture of Morbucks and put her in his photo album. His next target was the Townsville Dam, and after a panicked call from the Mayor the Powerpuff Girls stopped a tidal wave caused by the released water by freezing it solid. Shutter Thug took the Girls picture and they found himself trapped in his photo album. Buttercup ripped the picture, allowing them to travel around the photo album, and the Powerpuff Girls picked up the Washington Monument, using it to tear through the album entirely and release all the shutter Thug’s captives. The Mayor and Sara thanked the girls for saving the city, but they were leery of having their picture taken by the press.
(Powerpuff Girls #12) - Pokey Oaks had a snow day and the Powerpuff Girls were excited to have a day off relaxing. Unfortunately the snow caused a number of emergencies and the Mayor called them about ice skaters who fell through the ice and an avalanche that buried cars. Dr. Utonium was trying to win the Cleanest Driveway in Townsville Award, so he kept having the girls shovel so he could win the prize from the reigning champion Ms. Keane. The Mayor and Sara Bellum debated over who to give the award to when the Abominable snowman ran rampant in Townsville. The girls beat he beast and then finally took some time for themselves to play in the snow. Dr. Utonium panicked while the girls were away and decided he had to keep the driveway clean himself. The Mayor arrived to give him his award and told the Powerpuff Girls that Sara Bellum said to tell them good job on taking out the Abominable Snowman.
(Powerpuff Girls #14) - A mattress delivery truck collided with an armored car, scattering mattresses and cash everywhere. The Amoeba boys decided to make their bones by committing a major crime, ripping the tags off the mattresses. The Powerpuff girls secured the money before any crooks could steal it, and the amoeba Boys were insulted that the girls didn’t notice them, and the mattress truck driver wasn’t interested when the Amoeba Boys bragged about what they’d done, saying he was just driving the mattresses to the dump anyway. The Amoeba Boys finally admitted to themselves that they were failures as bad guys, so they decided to change their tactics and try and be heroes. They asked the Powerpuff Girls, who were rescuing a treed cat, for advice, but the Girls had no time for them. The Amoeba Boys decided to rescue cats from trees, but since there were no cats in distress they decided to rescue a squirrel from a tree. After multiple failed attempts and getting bitten by the squirrel a number of times they gave up. They saw a homeless man warming himself with a trashcan fire and made a plan to be heroic by putting the fire out. The chopped down Townsville’s water tower, flooding the city. The Powerpuff Girls flew in to clean up, and yelled at the Amoeba Boys to stop making a mess of things. Mojo Jojo prepared to destroy Townsville Hall with his super death ray, and the Amoeba Boys tried to stop him by moving Townsville Hall. Sara Bellum and the Mayor watched incredulously as the Amoeba boys dynamited their building, sending it through the air. Mojo Jojo was incredulous that the Amoeba Boys were interfering with his caper and aimed his death ray at them. Townsville Hall hit another building, setting off a domino effect that knocked over a number of buildings, and one of them crashed on Mojo Jojo. The Powerpuff girls arrived and the Amoeba Boys expected accolades until the girls pointed out that they’d destroyed most of Townsville in the process of saving Townsville Hall.
