History:  (100 Bullets #23 (fb, BTS)) - Megan Dietrich's father Roland died, and she was made a member of the Trust, a coterie of the most powerful families in America, despite her young age.

(100 Bullets #4, 5) - Megan celebrated her birthday with a bar crawl, hitting a hole in the wall where Lee Dolan was bartender. Years earlier he was a restaurateur, and she'd ruined his life by sending him obscene computer files, and reporting him to the police. Minuteman Graves had approached Dolan earlier in the day, revealed that Megan was the one who destroyed him, and gave him a briefcase with a gun and 100 bullets. He made it clear that if he chose to use the briefcase he'd face no repercussions. Lee severely wanted to shoot Megan, who was having a great time rubbing elbows with the hoi polloi. She didn't recognize him, and he couldn't work up the courage to commit murder that night, but decided she did have to die. He stole her Trust broach and showed up at Dietrich Security Corp. the next day to return it. He put a gun on her, and she admitted she had nothing against him, and had only ruined his life as a prank. Megan told him whoever put him on her trail was manipulating him, and showed how easily she could erase his criminal record, fill his bank account or those of his children. He agreed that Megan setting his life in order was better than revenge. Megan shot him in the head and undid took back the money she'd placed in his family's accounts. Examining the gun, she knew Agent Graves put him up to killing her. She called an ally in the trust and informed him that Graves was still alive.

(100 Bullets #23-25) - Augustus Medici called a meeting of the Trust in Atlantic City after learning from Mr. Shepherd that in addition to Agent Graves, Cole Burns of the Minutemen was still alive. Benito Medici met with Megan Dietrich, and she told him to stop trying to act like Shepherd and looking at him like a father figure. She said he wasn't cut out to be a tough guy, and he was better off learning from Augustus than one of his soldiers. They met Daniel Peres at the pool, and Peres worried that Benito didn't appreciate the vision of his father. Benito asked him why Augustus tried to eliminate the Minutemen, and Peres said it was for the good of the Trust and advancing their success and money gains. Augustus arrived with bodyguard Crete, and greeted his son. The previous day Benito played a private card game, and was almost beaten by Hank Kowalski, who desperately needed the money, but raised the stakes far beyond what he could play, forcing him to fold his hand, which was probably a winner. Hank was stalking Benito, and Cole Burns was observing him, happily telling him Benito's room number. Benito played poker at the casino, and Megan was annoyed that he wasn't paying attention to her; telling him he was off his game. Mia Simone arrived, and took Peres, Benito and Megan out to dinner. August partied with a prostitute, and couldn't help but brag about the power he wielded. Megan flirted with Benito, but he didn't trust her. Once the 13 families arrived Augustus began the meeting, reminding everyone of how the Minutemen was created to keep them in check, to make sure no family turned against the other. He said they once they started trusting each other the Minutemen became obsolete, and an impediment to their success. Javier Vasco felt the Minutemen had been necessary, and Augustus knew he felt that way because the group once settled a bloody dispute between his family and that of Axel Nagel, but assured him they were no longer needed. He denied that Graves and any other surviving Minutemen were a threat, and Daniel Peres told him Graves would come after him first because they'd once been close friends. Peres got a call, and said he had urgent business to attend to, but since he insisted on leaving the meeting Augustus told Megan Dietrich to accompany him. She complied, but left him when she saw Benito Medici on a gambling binge. Hank Kowalski was waiting for Benito in his room with a gun, demanding the money he felt was stolen from him. Benito said the house had his money, and was allowed to retrieve it while Hank kept Megan hostage. Benito upset Megan by telling Hank to shoot her if he saw him try anything funny. He got the money and said Hank could take it, or gamble $100,000 of Benito's money on the upcoming Pacers gang. Hank went with the gambling option and left. Megan thought he'd manipulated Hank since Benito's favorite was the Lakers in order to utterly detsroy him. Benito disappointed her by saying he was betting on the Lakers for Hank so he could get the money he needed. Peres' threat was given at the command of Agent Graves, who wanted to make sure he did as promised. Graves introduced him to Cole, thanked him, and then stabbed him to death.

(100 Bullets #33-36) - Megan contacted art dealer Karl Reynolds about acquiring a 16th Century painting depicting the founding of the Trust. The painting was in private hands in France, so Karl farmed out the job to Monroe Tannenbaum, who, along with his associates Lono and Echo Memoria pulled off the art heist. Lono decided to cut Monroe and Echo out of the equation, and told Megan he wanted an exorbitant fee for the work, holding the fact that she'd facilitated a crime in France over her head. She relented, and Lono got his first pay day. Monroe wouldn't explain to Karl how the deal went south, so Karl hired P.I. and deactivated Minuteman Milo Garrett to investigate him. Lono shot Monroe in the head to tie up loose ends, but Milo kept investigating. Megan met with Milo when Lono sent both of them to Monroe's apartment, only to find him dead, hanging in the shower. Lono wanted another meeting with Megan, having a new set of demands. Milo told her not to go to the meeting, deciding he should go and confront Lono. She told him most of her story, and he had the feeling she was telling most of the truth, which she could only do because she was rich and powerful. Milo went to the meeting with Lono, sitting across from him at a diner, and showing his gun to keep him seated. Lono, not recognizing his former Minuteman compatriot because his face was bandaged after an accident, opened up his jacket to show he was even more heavily armed, and pantomimed shooting the diners, including three kids that walked in. Milo was temporarily distracted, and Lono disappeared. Milo knew he blew it, and drank until he was courageous enough to approach Megan's estate and demand entry. She was hosting a dinner party, but did want to keep abreast of the Lono situation. He asked her what kind of painting was worth dying for, so she showed it to him. It showed the Trust under an archway that read "Croatoa," the word to reactivate Minutemen. Milo's memories flooded back, and he fled the party. He drove his car and remembered Atlantic City, causing him to crash and pass out. Megan found him, and brought him back home. She said she was excited by the danger he exuded, and they slept together. Lono later raided Megan's estate, stealing back the painting, and killing a number of Megan's guards. Lono was hooked up with Echo now, and they needed to get rid of Milo. Lono burst into his office with a gun, asking who he was about to kill. He snarked that he was Claude Rains, and Lono shot him in the head, killing him.

(100 Bullets #60-63) - Mr. Branch was summoned back to America by Megan Dietrich, and she tried to impress him with the first-class hotel room they were staying in, the Delano. Branch said high class joints made his skin crawl, and Megan told him they'd meet after she spent some time down by the pool. Megan was relaxing when Cole Burns swam up to her. She warned him about trying to take her out in public, and he assured her that while he could, he had no intention of doing do, and warned her her life was in danger. Branch found a flophouse where he was more comfortable, and told Megan he'd meet her later at Club Deuce. Benito went to see Megan, and she was impressed that he'd finally opened his eyes as to what his father could make him, so she invited him out for drinks at a haute nightclub. Benito still wanted to know why she was in town, and Megan said some houses were not happy with the restructuring of the Trust. The Trust also feared war with the Minuteman after the deaths of Daniel Peres, Anwar Madrid, and Mr. Shepherd. They went to Augustus', where he cooked them dinner. Megan suspected Javier Vasco of conspiring with Graves, because he feared the rise of the Medici house, and revealed that Cole Burns had given her a cryptic warning about other houses moving against the Medicis. Benito thought Cole couldn't be trusted, and had a feeling they were being played. Megan agreed, but said she still knew who her enemies were, and they had to find out which one was trying to manipulate them for their own ends. Megan said her house would stand with the Medicis, and Augustus had a few final plans to make with her, but asked Benito to leave. He told Benito he was not ready to be involved in a civil war, so he would stay out of it. Benito was angry, but acquiesced. Megan never got to meet with Branch, because Cole had recruited him to go to Europe and find Megan's painting. Augustus met with Graves, who reminded him that if they carried out their plan, there was no turning back.

(100 Bullets #66, 68, 69) - Loop and Victor Ray shadowed Megan Dietrich when she went out to dinner. Victor entered through the kitchen, and when she was in position he shot her in the chest with a rifle, but she survived. Megan recovered from her gunshot wound, and Augustus visited her, saying it seemed she'd completely lost her confidence. He told her there would be a summit, but to keep the peace she wouldn't breathe a word about her assassination attempt, or seek vengeance. She found it a hard pill to swallow, but agreed. Augustus told her to wear her wound like a badge of honor, and they made passionate love.

(100 Bullets #70, 71, 74) - The Trust attended the funeral of Axel Nagel, killed by Javier Vasco, and his children Anna and Lars were none too happy that the house of Nagel was to be absorbed by the rest of the Trust. Mia Simone told them not to fret, because they'd always be rich, and the politics of running a family in the Trust had a way of getting to people. Augustus, accompanied by Lono, said he regretted the death of Fulvio Carlito, but he knew the Trust had enemies within. He said he would forgive the past if the conspirators stopped, and told them they had to stick together to survive Agent Graves. He decided the house of Nagel would stand, and told Anna and Lars to decided between themselves who would lead it. The next day Lono met with Augustus, Dietrich and Crete, saying the Trust no longer saw him as a threat, so they'd averted a civil war. Megan questioned his loyalty, and demanded he hold his gun to his head since he worked for her. He complied, but grabbed her so that if he shot the bullet would kill them both, and described in graphic detail how he could have easily killed off every member of the Trust during their meeting. Lono turned Anna and Lars against each other, leading to Anna poisoning her brother and committing suicide in despair. The Trust overwhelmingly voted to absorb the house of Nagel. Lono celebrated his success with a cigar with Crete, and Megan told Augustus he'd gotten exactly what he wanted.

(100 Bullets #77) - Lono called Megan Dietrich, who'd learned of Mia Simone's death, and her attempt to put him in his place were met with vulgarity. He knew Augustus was pleased that another Trust house was gone, even though Graves was responsible, and said to keep up appearances as warlord he was going to Mexico to find Graves, knowing he wouldn't be there.

(100 Bullets #85) - Crete trained in the gym with Benito, and told him he was not acting like the heir to the house of Medici. He'd guessed that Benito ran away because of a woman, and told him to tell Augustus, saying he'd understand. Augustus prepared a lamb roast for Benito and Megan, hoping Benito would remember a fond childhood activity, but he was distant and abrasive. Megan and Augustus were planning to be married, and he sniped at her while she fired back at him for being immature and feeling threatened. Benito harped on taking the Minutemen more seriously after the fall of the house of Rhone and said they needed to be meaner than their former protectors.

(100 Bullets #90, 91) - Benito spied on his father and Megan in bed, and when MNegan awoke she closed the door on him. Benito met with Lono, sayimng he wanted to celebrate his father's upcoming marriage with something special, bringing him one of the Minutemen. Lono asked alive or dead, and Benito said one alive and one dead. Lono reminded him not to treat him like hired help or he'd regret it, as Benito hadn't paid for his loyalty.

(100 Bullets #97-100) - Augustus met with Graves, saying he was done with his master plan, but Graves disagreed and would not be swayed when Augustus told him he should be happy the Minutemen were reinstated. They discussed meeting with Megan, Tibo and D'arcy, the remaining heads of the Trust. The remaining heads were having their own meeting, and Megan told them how Augustus had been the one to orchestrate the assasination of the heads of houses and the houses absorpion into his and Javier's domain. Megan said she could manipulate Benito to their side, and the three of them agreed they should negotiate with Augustus from a position of power. D'arcy had her man will slaughter kill Javier with a sniper rifle, and Augustus was even more apprehensive about brokering peace in the Trust. Megan, Tibo and D'arcy arrived at the Medici compound, and Benito said he wasn't going to be in on the meeting on his father's orders.  Victor, Jack, Cole and Loop buried Echo in the swamp, with the Trust's painting wrapped around her body, and decided to crash the Trust's meeting, and Lono had the same idea. The Trust took Augustus' vote away, so he resigned as head of his family, giving it to Benito. The Trust demanded Graves step down as head of the Minutemen, but said he could pick his replacement. He balked, but came around when they offered him the former house of Vasco and a membership in the Trust. Benito relaxed in the pool and was approached by Megan, who said her engagement with Augustus was off, and tried to seduce him. Megan strangled Benito to death, and when Crete found his body Graves named Dizzy as the new head of the Minutemen and told her to investigate. The Minutemen stormed the compound, killing dozens of security. Jack Daw and Crete fought, with the battle spilling over into Augustus' alligator pond. Cole stabbed Tibo and strangled D'arcy to death, filled a room with gasoline, and waited for Megan. Lono ambushed Graves, but Dizzy shot him a number of times, and he fell out the window. Graves talked to Augustus, realizing he planned for the Trust to murder his son and Dizzy to kill the other heads so the only ones standing would be him and Graves. Graves shot Augustus dead, and the shot surprised Cole, who dropped his lighter, blowing up both himself and Megan. Dizzy said Graves moved against another member of the Trust and pulled her gun. Graves said Augustus was the one who ruined his life, compromising his principles, but allowing him to pass those principles on to others, and he pointed dizzy's gun at his own head.
