(Welcome to Tranquility #1) - Minxy moved to Tranquility, a retirement community for the heroes of yesteryear. In her later days she began suffering from dementia, frequently thinking she was a child during WWII again. She hired Seresa Lindo to help her fly the new jets and planes she kept inventing, dubbing her Venus after her old assistant. During one flight Minxky thought she was pursuing the Sky Pirate and crashed her jet on Main St. Sheriff Lindo rescued Minxy from the wreckage and checked on her sister, who had a head injury. Seresa said she simply couldn’t turn down $20,000 a week, no matter how dangerous the work was. Sheriff Lindo met with Mayor Fury, asking for him to find a way to ground Minxy permanently. He reminded her that Minxy had friends in high places because of her service, and was a millionaire to boot, so he just wanted to look the other way.

(Welcome to Tranquility #2) - Mr. Articulate was fatally stabbed with his own swordcane during a scuffle between Sheriff Lindo, the former members of the Liberty Squad and Emoticon and his entourage at the Chick’n Go. Who the murderer was wasn’t evident and Sheriff Lindo was determined to find the culprit. Minxy Minerva attended Mr. Articulate’s funeral.
