Powers: Rumor was a demon and an infernal banker dealing in souls.

History: (Constantine: The Hellblazer #8) - Neron and the demonic banker Mister Rumor bought up vast swathes of NYC, bringing up demons from Hell as investors and clients, and increasing the amount of supernatural activity in the city. They tricked Papa Midnite into selling the Midnight Club, separating him from the totem that gave him power over the club and his army of zombies. They were interested in the Hellgate that powered the club that could serve as an easy access to NYC from Hell. John Constantine and Midnite infiltrated the club, but Rumor recognized them and removed the illusion they were using to pose as demons.
