After stealing components from Garrick Labs, he designed a battlesuit and named himself the Atom Smasher. He went on a rampage in Keystone City, but was halted by Flash I. He swore revenge, and devoted his time in jail toward designing new weaponry. Many years later he was released and found a newspaper article detailing the exploits of Flash II. Assuming this was the same Flash who put him behind bars he traveled to Central City and debuted his new identity as Professor Fallout. He held Central City for ransom with a neutron bomb, but was defeated by the Flash II. After another lengthy prison term he designed a new battlesuit powered by parts stolen from Elysian Fields Nuclear Facility and named himself Fusionn. He again came after the Flash, not realizing that the hero currently going by the name was actually Flash III (Wally West). After defeating Flash III he realized that this young man was not his mortal enemy, so de decided to level Central City to exact his revenge. With the help of scientists from Elysian Fields Flash III defeated him, and Fusionn's battlesuit exploded. This explosion caused a reaction that would mutate his body over the course of hundreds of years, and he emerged in the year 2645 as Mota, a being made of living plutonium, and bent on mindless rampaging. After killing off half of Central City he was confronted by Flash (John Fox), who used Flash II's Cosmic Treadmill to transport Mota to the year 50 billion A.D., at which point Mota's body decayed into lead. After 700 years, Mota's schemes and his life finally came to an end.
