History: (Plastic Man vol. 2 #19)-Marty Meeker was a delivery boy nicknamed the Mouse because of his milquetoast attitude and frail physique. He was being leaned on by Max the Knife and his gang of roughnecks until Plastic Man I stood up for him. Mouse was relieved until he learned that Max the Knife had roughed up his crush Nancy in retaliation. She berated Mouse and demanded that he go after Max, but he was too frightened. That night Mouse saw a spaceship descend on his apartment roof. He investigated, but the aliens within didn’t appreciate being spied on while they were making emergency repairs on their ship. They struck him with a ray blast and flew off. The blast had somehow given him fantastic powers, and he immediately decided to become a crimefighter like Plastic Man. With his new ability to locate crimes in progress he cleaned up all city crime within a week. The neighborhood was enamoured with Mouse, and Nancy even consented to date him. Plastic Man felt inadequate and was ready to leave the city when he learned that Mouse’s powers were fading. Nancy immediately dumped Mouse when she found out, and his powers completely vanished during a fight with Max the Knife. Plastic Man saved Mouse in the nick of time, and the would-be superhero has not been heard from since.
