MR. 105

Real Name: John Dubrovny

Class: Human mutate

Occupation: Molecular engineer, supervillain

Group Affiliation: None

Known Relatives: unnamed wife

Aliases: Mr. 103, Mr. 104

Base of Operations: Midway City

First Appearance: Doom Patrol I #98 (September, 1965)

Powers: Mr. 105 had control over the entire range of the periodic table of the elements. He could physically transform into any of these elements, or a combination of several, complete with their individual properties. He could easily alter the size and shape of his transmuted body. Mr. 105 was very difficult to kill, able to recorporate the scattered elements of his body.

History: (Doom Patrol vol. 1 #98)-John Dubrovny was always an average man. In school he got average grades, later he got an average job and married an average wife. John wanted to be recognized as above average, and this drove him to invent a device that could turn lead into gold. The alchemy device he created did not work in the manner he intended, but it did work. He was accidentally bathed in his creation’s energy and transformed into the very elements he sought to control. He named himself Mr. 103 and started a life of crime. He fought the Doom Patrol, but their leader Chief discovered a way to neutralize his powers.

He fought the Doom Patrol on a few more occasions, failing each time. As new periodic elements were discovered, he changed his name to Mr. 104, and later Mr. 105.

(Animal Man #24)-Mr. 105 is caught up in the Second Crisis created by Psycho-Pirate II.

(DC Countdown #1) - Doctor 104 was given a mission by the Society to synthesize kryptonite, but Society leader "Luthor" didn't have faith he would succeed.

Comments: Created by Arnold Drake & Bruno Premani

Mr. 104 received a profile in Who’s Who Update ’87 #4.

Mr. 105 had a cameo in Beast Boy #1

I'm assuming the Dr. 104 from DC Countdown was actually Mr. 105. The Society inner circle referred to him as Dr. 104, and I'd wager they couldn't be bothered to remember the names of the 5th rate villains on the fringes of the Society.
